Organisational Tricks

Trevari Exchange
An organisation which provides innovative solutions for financial institutions looking for additional revenue stream with no additional costs (I wonder how they make money if no addition costs is involved). They take care of international payments and recommend risk solution to protect bottom line flunctuations in the currency markets (If they had such an idea, I am sure our currency would be top in the world, and their brains would be needed by the minister of finance).

...their process
In layman terms, this is what trevari does. If you have a huge some of hard currency and you seek a financial organisation whom can either do a transfer, or make an exchange, you call Trevari. A good idea right. But then, who suffers this, the employees. There is a process engaged in doing business these days, and it seems the owners of businesses in the country are liasing with each other on how to make use of the labor force in a rather trickery way and nothing is being done.

Regularly, a recruitment process is being done by the organisation at Trevari Exchange, but the question is why do you change employees regularly. A group of persons are called for the interview process, and let's say 5 persons are taken for the job. These 5 persons are on for a 2-months probation, and are to be paid N30,000 i.e $180/month. They are supposed to engage customers/clients into exchanging their hard currency as the CBN policy states that banks are not to issue hard currencies anymore if transferred internationally. The marketers go out seeking clients/customers to change their hard currency where some have kept for longer periods waiting for a fall in the naira and an increase in either the dollar or pounds currency rates. The job can be fun especially when you handle different currencies from all over the world, and engage in funny gestures and stories told by the customers/clients as to how they they went through getting the cash.

After some period of 3 months, during when the probation would be over, thanks to the organisation, some persons will be laid off. Why? well, you are about to know the truth. These persons who are to be laid off by the organisation sometimes do not understand why, but the organisation bring unnecessary lies about how the marketers do not engage in bringing potential customers to the organizations.Meaning, when being laid off, your customer/clients remain a part of the organisation and are not a part of the employee being laid off.  The organisation does the recruitment process every three months, lay people off for no reason, and get new marketers, building a network of hard currency exhange clients, being taken from those laid off, and recruiting new members there by introducing new customers/clients into the organisation and in turn being laid-off in the coming months.

Strength
Reaping people off

Weakness
No weakness.. Just strengths.

  1. Interesting piece yet sad for those employees who are determined and hardworking but they have to be used in such a cruel manner for the organisation to get ahead...that is the kind of "humanity" some organisations practice in a bid to have a comfortable business environment!!!
