Dream BIG, not steal BIG!!!

There are organizations functioning in the country, and I respect those organizations that the populace don't seem to know that are actually doing pretty well. The story of Boulos group is one interesting one, but do you believe everything you read on the internet. "If I die today, and you ask my mama what do you think killed your pikin? She will say na truth kill am". The Boulos story is not what I am concerned about, but what goes on in that business environment.

Boulos has been a production company decades, and yet, many of the youths from 15-36yrs of age do not know what goes on there. They engage in the assemblies of the Keke-Marwa, what my friends from Kenya and Tanzania call Tuk-Tuk, and what the Americans/British named Tri-cycle. Commonly seen in the Asian parts of the world. They produce tissue papers and so many more.

How is the market environment like? How is their market strategy like? Well, this is how it's done. Boulos has an organized structure of clients who distributes their products to their respective customers at retail costs or wholesale prices, depending on who is purchasing from the source. They have a proportion of these clients, ranging from Class A (Those who can afford their products from 35-50 million Naira), Class B (from 15-34 million Naira), Class C (from 5-14 million Naira). When these clients get the product, every month, if they are able to sell the Boulos product of 35-50 million Naira on a montly basis, they get 5 million Naira FOC(free of charge of goods), This is how it works, but the FOC is different for the classes. Sounds reasonable? Well, clients and customers are not complaining.

They have operated in the country for over 5 decades and are doing extremely well. What CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) has the company done for the regions to which they are located in the country? I haven't seen any yet though, if you have, please state some. How have they affected the population? Well, pollution is one huge factor affecting the citizens, but who cares, but don't we think there are persons who are supposed to be in charge of this? Well, they are bribed, so these companies know their way. I am not interested in all that.

I am interested in their HR manager presently. In the production department, there are workers that are displaced for no reason, and because the bosses believe the HR manager is doing his job. Over 35 persons who are supposed to be working there, are not present. The few persons in the production department are doing a job for 35 persons. This is what we call "GHOST WORKERS". Now, if one person is paid 50,000 Naira  (Fifty thousand Naira), the HR manager collects his monthly salary, inclusive of each 35 persons who are to be employed in the company, and if my calculation is perfect, it would account to, 1,750,000 Naira (One million seven hundred and fifty thousand Naira) for just one person doing absolutely nothing. And what is the organization doing about it? Absolutely nothing. And we claim there is no job, if you are not informed, you will be deformed they say, well, hearing this, are you deformed?

If I die today, I did it telling the truth. And so shall it be.
