Mat Hummels: Man U or Arsenal
This is a sure rumor, because anything that has to do with Arsenal isn't 80% sure till it happens in real. Arsenal according to rumors is preparing a transfer bid for the Dortmund star Mats Hummels for £31.5m. We will await confirmation soon.

Draxler: Arsenal or Man U
Arsenal failed to sign the Schalke superstar Draxler this season, and according to the player, he noted 'I would have loved a move to Arsenal this season', but we will see how it goes. But rumor says Manchester United are likely to gain interest in the Schalke superstar. We've got the money, we will spend it as we want. Draxler, we welcome you in advance.
Khedira to United
Manchester United has moved ahead in the race for Khedira, the German play maker ahead of Arsenal. Arsene Wenger already had an agreed terms with Real Madrid, but United are preparing an intelligent contract offer to put them ahead in the race. And trust me, he would want to work with Van Gaal. Go United.
Fastest player in the Premier League
With Walcott out of the premier league due to injuries for a while now, Phil Jagielka, the England player and Everton captain is seen as the fastest premier league player this season. This will surely help Roy Hodgson in bringing Phil into the first 11 players in any friendly game, I hope.
Zakaria Bakkali
Chelsea may beat Liverpool in signing the Belgian winger Zakaria Bakkali from PSV in January. The 18-yr-old Belgian player will likely want to work with one of the best coaches in the world, Jose Mourinho and this may annoy Rodgers. But who cares, the Liverpool coach is just not doing the right thing this time.

Your music, Our genre....
Music has always been something we love, it has impacted our lives in a whole different way. The musicians, the artists, the writers, the composers have blended in and understood the market, well, so we think. But the question is, do some of these artists actually follow their dreams, or do they follow what the market wants?

Sports
Chelsea has made a £23.6million bid for Gerrad Pique and it is rumored to be in line with Barcelona's asking price. It is also rumored that Manchester United are interested in getting Pique back to Old trafford. We will be glad to get Pique back at Old trafford, but do we really need such a distracted Shakira-Pique in our team?

#Being self made#
Pride goes before a fall, but how many persons have fallen with the pride which they swallow? Hakeem claims he is a self made millionaire and lives a life of pride. He tells his story about how he made it himself. And I wonder, how people make it themselves? Is it possible for someone to be successful with no help? Is it possible for someone to be successful living in hell on earth all by themselves? I listened to Hakeem's speech one this day, and he started thus.

Interview Questions
There are several organizations you would go and you would be asked with the same question over and over. These are the most common questions asked by different organizations.
Wrong leader
I recently saw an ad "ICSL temporary job placement" and wondered if I could give an insight into the organization and inform people on what they need to know.
ICSL: Information Connectivity Solutions Limited, a provider of premium broadband network infrastructure and connectivity solutions. They provide a "stable" and highly available wireless network solutions to banks, and some organizations as well as individuals.

...rareness is quality
I was 17 yrs of age working as a librarian at one of the Universities, as I never had the chance of going to school. I had been working there for 7 months, I read a lot and got acquainted with so many things, well, I thought I did. I loved reading, and wanted to know. But on this very day, a man walked into the library. He was not a student and I recognized he wasn't a professor who taught at the University.

A success story..
I got an e-mail from Access Bank in '10 and was told to be at Ikeja for an aptitude test. Presently, I have no idea how the tests are done. But in '10, we were so many and I remember I had no space to sit. It was a stuffy place, and I had my mind set that the number of persons who were in for the test were looking so brilliant, and I had no chance of being called for the interview. I almost walked out of the room, but something asked me to stay behind.
Organisational Tricks
Trevari Exchange
An organisation which provides innovative solutions for financial institutions looking for additional revenue stream with no additional costs (I wonder how they make money if no addition costs is involved). They take care of international payments and recommend risk solution to protect bottom line flunctuations in the currency markets (If they had such an idea, I am sure our currency would be top in the world, and their brains would be needed by the minister of finance).

the disguised bloggers
When we get to hear somethings about celebrities, people, personalities, we are so quick to judge. When we hear some thing awful about them, we comment and say things like any change will bring an effect on them. Bloggers will continue to give information, but have you ever asked the question, why don't bloggers give information about themselves?
....unsure dreams
The most difficult thing about writing is what to write about, where to begin, what your story will entail, who will be interested in reading your story? How interesting it would be for people to comment on what you have posted. But then you get nothing.

Dream BIG, not steal BIG!!!
There are organizations functioning in the country, and I respect those organizations that the populace don't seem to know that are actually doing pretty well. The story of Boulos group is one interesting one, but do you believe everything you read on the internet. "If I die today, and you ask my mama what do you think killed your pikin? She will say na truth kill am". The Boulos story is not what I am concerned about, but what goes on in that business environment.
Drama in Ads!!!
The advertising agency in Nigeria has become so competitive, some have involved drama in their adverts, and some have included sorrows in theirs. Judging from the following adverts from MTN, the largest telecommunication industry in Nigeria. I would say the best advert so far are those done by Saka, and the very first advert of the guy who paints everything yellow and we never saw his face. It was so funny back then he even painted the waters YELLOW. (Couldn't find the video on Youtube).
Let's take a quick look at the other adverts done by MTN.
SAKA: Who is Saka? A lecturer, an actor, and he never came into limelight until he became an advert figure on television. He became a public figure, but would you render him a celebrity because of the advert done by Etisalat? Don't think so. But he became an important image on television with the 45 secs advert done. The advertising agency involved in this should be given Kudos for giving the audience such an interesting dramatic display by Saka and his team expressing what the organization truly wants.
Now, lets take a look at some of the other adverts placed by MTN.
DAVIDO: The super star came into limelight really fast. He was loved by many, and with his talent, he still has a lot to give his audience. But was he right for this advert? Don't think so. Ever wondered why MTN never used him for another advert? The intensity of his voice isn't for advert purposes, but for music purposes. In one of his statement, at the end of the advert, he said, 'My name is Davido, welcome to my world'. Your world is music Davido, not MTN pulse. I say it's a NO NO for me.
Celebrities may be an important factor in bringing audiences to be involved in organizational products/services. I don't see that working with the innovation skills used by these advertising agencies. The right person will always get the job done well, how do you choose these persons? How do you convey a simple message to your audience? We are here to watch, and we will always be here to judge.

I AM failure!!!
Failure has been associated with me all my life. And even when I try not to fail, I end up being with my big friend 'failure'. If it has to do with making my life a better one, I suck at it. If it involves the future, I feel like it is an unattainable goal. But then I keep living, I keep living a failed life. I thought I made sense the other day when I traced my steps to realize some certain things I made in the past. And each time I make amends, I wish I had something close to an end-result.

Development taking place!!!
Inspirational speakers give a reason for one to listen and then be heard, they say things that has already been said, things that has been forgotten. More like giving us a reason to go back to our subconscious thoughts to which we already know. But on this very day, I heard an inspirational person(attached with the government) talk about development in this particular region where this video clip was taken.
Ridiculousness....
An interview was scheduled for 34 persons for different positions at Coca Cola, Nigeria. The 34 persons were present and waited for the usual routine which some of them were used to. The weird thing was no HR personnel came forward to say a word. Some of the 34 persons got together, talked and asked several questions just to be acquainted with themselves. Some made friends, some remained quiet. 2 hrs later, someone walked in, offered them each a bottle of diet coke and apologized for the delay. Told them to wait and that someone would attend to them.

...the greed we chew..
In 1936, Victor from Edo state had a career mindset. At age 20, he got to Lagos to find himself a job. Not minding the fact that education was of low quality then in Nigeria, or wasn't reachable to many of the populace. Victor had highly reached that point in his life where he thought he could just do something for himself. He had a goal, a define aim. Luckily, LIVER BROTHERS now UNILEVER were recruiting, and with the traditional method of hearsay still used till date, Victor gave it a try. The role was for laborers who would work in the production department. Victor got in on time and found 21 huge men. He was totally scared, he was the youngest among these men and he was sure he wouldn't get the job.

Who do we blame?..
It is funny how some persons believe that everyone needs to be self-employed. The first world doesn't seem that way to me. There are some who prefer white collar jobs, gain the experience they need, and start something, or prefer to stay there for as long as they wish. It all depends on the individual. But life is tough, the third world is tougher. Recruitment agencies are portraying to the world that the unemployed graduates will get a job if they apply through their platform. Some make it possible, some just makes it worse. MEMCOS for example used to be a recruting firm for MTN. Every August, these agency prepares a battle for the unemployed graduates to work in the biggest telecommunication industry in the country. How do they do it? You apply through them, first, by knowing a top official, secondly, by hearsay, but that depends on if you would be called upon. The unemployed graduates seems so happy when they are sent an e-mail from the well-known network calling for an assessment.
Think like there is no BOX
How many philanthropists do we have in our country? Does philanthropy entail giving out unknown wealth to some persons? When will these so-called philanthropist think outside the box, or better still, think like there is no box? For a number of reasons, I have come to realize that giving is essential to us all. But for our country, even new born babies are aware of human financial needs, where people totally understand the value of money.
Education is missing..
Education as we know is in different forms, formal or informal. But in so many ways, we have come to realize the uncertainties in education. Of what use is it to us? Who are these group of persons that transfers these knowledge to the next generation? Categorically, learning has been passed from generation to generations, but mostly with those who have the passion for it. In most schools of today in Nigeria, education is not a reason for learning, but a reason of purpose. A purpose for some to gain knowledge, a purpose to gain a certificate which seems useless to some or useful to others, a purpose for some owners to make more money. Our system of learning has given students reasons to be scared of asking questions that may seem tough for the teachers. Why ask questions, when the person passing that knowledge only cares to hate you for ridiculing them in class The commitment of these so-called teachers are of no use to many of the students.
