An interview was scheduled for 34 persons for different positions at Coca Cola, Nigeria. The 34 persons were present and waited for the usual routine which some of them were used to. The weird thing was no HR personnel came forward to say a word. Some of the 34 persons got together, talked and asked several questions just to be acquainted with themselves. Some made friends, some remained quiet. 2 hrs later, someone walked in, offered them each a bottle of diet coke and apologized for the delay. Told them to wait and that someone would attend to them.
They felt relieved having to measure their bellies with a cold filtered bottle of no sugar content of diet coke. 32 persons quickly finished the cold refreshing diet coke,while the other 2 left theirs untouched. 45 mins later, one among the 2 persons opened his, and drank half of the bottle and stopped. The other didn't touch it.
An hour later, each names were called from a voice where they didn't know its source and each of these 32 persons were told 'they would be contacted'. There were no tests done, no questions asked, just as they expected. The other 2 persons were given the job, and I wonder what moral lesson one should learn from this.
